Peartree Green, circa 1930. The picture was taken at the junctions of Peartree Road, Bridge Road, Peartree Avenue and Tranby Road looking roughly northeast into Tranby Road. The building left of centre is Peartree School now converted to private dwellings, on the far left the roof of Jesus Chapel can be seen. Compare this image with
