Two months almost since the last post - so!
Well, the past couple of weeks have been dramatic, I start a new job on Monday - left the old one Friday lunchtime. I'm out of manufacturing and into law - the new job is archiver for a local law firm . Over the past year I had found my job increasingly tiring and tiresome so I'm excited about my move!
One good thing about the new job is that I can cycle rather commute by train as I have been and today we went to get me a new bike it's a Muddyfox and you can see a picture of it here : Downtown
The Boy is in California with dad for the summer so it's just us and the cat! When he gets back we have to kit him out for secondary school - which is going to be something of a culture shock all round.
We now have the home network set up and running sweetly, two Windows XP boxes and one Win98. There's one shared printer attached to one of the XP boxes which does for now, perhaps when we're flush I'll fork out for a print server but that is way down the list!
